NC State’s Drake Thomas Declares for the 2023 NFL Draft, Will Play in Bowl Game
NC State Junior Drake Thomas announced today that he will declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Thomas had one year of eligibility remaining, but he stated awhile back that if he was a lock to be drafted, then he would more than likely declare for the Draft.
There is no doubt in my mind that Thomas will be drafted next Spring. He doesn’t have much else to prove at the collegiate level.
Thomas is one of the best players to ever play Linebacker at NC State. Plain and simple.
Thomas currently ranks 9th in NC State history in Sacks. What makes this so remarkable, is that Thomas is the ONLY Linebacker ranked in the Top-10.

Thomas and Moore are the highest ranking Linebacker’s in Tackle’s for Loss in school history. What makes Thomas’ number so impressive, is he did it in 4 years on the field, compared to Moore’s 5.
