A Win on Friday will Give NC State Their 14th 9-Win Season in School History

#23 NC State has a chance to pick up their 9th win of the 2022 college football season on Friday against Maryland in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. If the Wolfpack wins the bowl game, it will mark only the 14th time in school history that the Wolfpack have won 9 games in a single season.

Wolfpack Head Coach Dave Doeren already has three 9-win seasons in his first 9 seasons in Raleigh. Doeren is the only coach in NC State history to have three 9-win seasons.

If NC State wins on Friday, it will mark the 4th time that the Wolfpack have won 9 games in back-to-back seasons, marking the 2nd time that Doeren has done so.
