NC State has found their replacement for Christopher Dunn at Place Kicker. Not that Dunn can be replaced, but someone has to step into the role, and it will be Western Kentucky Graduate Transfer Brayden Narveson.

Narveson spent the first two years of his career at Iowa State, before transferring to Western Kentucky. In 2020, he went 13 of 14, with his 93% field goal percentage ranking 3rd in the FBS. As a Redshirt Sophomore, he was a Lou Groza Award Semifinalist. In 2020, he earned All-Conference USA 2nd Team honors, and was a 3rd Team All-American according to PFF.

In 2021, Narveson earned 2nd Team All-Conference USA honors, connecting on 23 of 29 field goal attempts.

This year, Narveson was 15 of 21 on field goal attempts.
