NC State’s Christopher Dunn is the NCAA’s All-Time Leader in Career Field Goals!

NC State Place Kicker Christopher Dunn finished his career yesterday breaking yet another record, and this time it was a big one. Dunn made 4 field goals yesterday in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl 12-16 loss to Maryland, scoring all of the Wolfpack’s points.

Dunn finished his career with 97 career field goals, making him the NCAA’s all-time leader in field goals.

Dunn entered the game needing 3 to tie Arizona State’s Zane Gonzalez, and 4 to move ahead.

When you don’t think that Dunn’s resume can get any better, it does.

Tim Beck’s efforts for the offense were not entirely in vein. We were so bad at scoring TDs that we got Dunn over the hump and in the record books.

Very happy for Dunn though. Well deserved, and still very difficult to accomplish even with an O that sputters.
