According to a source, former Virginia Quarterback Brennan Armstrong will be beginning an Official Visit to NC State tomorrow, January 4th.

I reported back on December 23rd that I had spoken with sources close to the Virginia and NC State coaching staff’s, and both felt confident that Armstrong would end up at NC State.

If Armstrong were to join the Wolfpack, he would reunite with familiar faces, the most important one being Offensive Coordinator Robert Anae, who was the OC at UVA from 2016-21. Most notably, he was the OC in 2021 when Brennan Armstrong threw for 4,449 yards and 31 touchdowns (10 interceptions), completing 65.2% of his passes. He also rushed for 9 touchdowns.

According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, the other two schools in the mix for Armstrong are Oklahoma State and Auburn.

Thamel also had this to say on College Gameday on Monday.

“I was told today, ‘Don’t be surprised if Armstrong reunites with him at NC State.’
