Nyheim Hines Returns 2 Kickoffs for Touchdowns in Bills Final Regular Season Game

Published

Former NC State All-American Kickoff Returner Nyheim Hines returned 2 kickoffs for touchdowns, becoming the first NFL player to do so since 2010. He became the only player in Bills history to do so, and becomes only the 11th player in NFL history to pull off the rare feat.

The first one will be something that Bills fans remember forever. In the 1st play since the Bills and the Bengals stopped playing one another after Damar Hamlin horrifically fell to the ground after suffering cardiac arrest, the Bills Mafia was able to erupt in celebration watching Hines return the opening kickoff 96 yards.

Then in the 3rd Quarter, Hines returned a kickoff 101 yards for his 2nd touchdown of the game.

After doing something nothing short of historical, Hines’ wasn’t thinking about himself, but his teammate Damar Hamlin.

The kickoff return to start the game was one of the more emotional things I have seen in the NFL. After all the talk about winning it for Damar … unbelievable.
