ICYMI Former NC State Wide Receiver Devin Carter Flipped from Penn St. to West Virginia

In Case You Missed it, former NC State Wide Receiver Devin Carter, who formerly committed to Penn St., has flipped his commitment to West Virginia.

Carter was committed to the Nittany Lions for all of 9 days.

I’ll just say it. I don’t get it. Leaving NC State to go play for Penn State…ok…I can wrap my head around that. Leaving NC State to go play for a West Virginia team that finished 5-7 this year…I don’t get it. Plenty of targets were destined to come his way dressed in Red and White next year.

Carter finished his career at NC State with 118 receptions, 1,906 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 5 years on the field.

My guess is he decided to do some NIL shopping, which may be an unfair assumption but we know its happening out there.
