ESPN Bracketology has NC State as a rising 7 seed in NCAA Tournament

ESPN Bracketology really doesn’t mean much at this point in the season, but it’s always interesting to follow along, and see what the “experts” think of your resume.

In the most recent version, ESPN Analyst Joe Lunardi has NC State as a 7th seed, facing off against Indiana (a 10 seed).

Lunardi has 7 ACC making the cut. NC State, Virginia, Clemson, UNC, Pitt, Miami, and Duke. Obviously, UNC and Duke are getting boosted a bit thanks to their name, because Wake Forest is being left off of this list, and they are 6-2 in the conference (tied for 2nd place) and have beaten both Duke and Clemson. Acutally, Wake is even being placed below Virginia Tech, who they have listed at the 2nd 4 out.

There is so much season left to be played, so these predictions are basically meaningless, but it’s good to see that Keatts has the Wolfpack within striking distance at this point in the season.

Maybe EB wasn’t able to play due to some sort of disciplinary actions. He didn’t make the trip which makes me believe it was more that than any injury.

I am pretty sure I read that Ebe was sick. Contagious? Levi Watkins also stayed home. On another note, was Clark dressed or just wearing warmups?

We are looking like we could be a dangerous tourney team, in particular if we can get everyone healthy.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’m watching, still with my critical lens on the Wolfpack, and just thinking to myself, imagine if we were at full power. And then laughing at that comment “full power”. Like as if, the product on screen needs more power. I do think it will be interesting to see what happens when Clark and Dusan are back. Also, what happened with EB? Is he injured now?

On that note, I don’t think we’re anywhere near perfect–I just like our trajection and believe we are rounding out into a solid basketball team with the workings of a good defensive foundation and potent offense that hasn’t even reached its peak yet.
