Great game! Good to see Jack out there getting some reps in warmups. Apologies if I missed this, it’s been awhile since I’ve lurked around on any sites: is the forum gone for good?

Yes, apparently no more forum (sadly). I’ve looked around for another one to join but either pay-walled or they are just a cesspool of negative trolling. So I’ll just hang around a drop a comment or two here.

“Cesspool of negative trolling”. Absolute correct! Unbelievable the number of Keatts haters that still persist.

KK in interview said of Clark,

“he has had a couple days of practice, but he’s not ready to play the game on both ends the way we play.”

Sounds like maybe a couple more weeks to me.

This was a really good win. They are a tough team, they’ve been playing well in league play. It was so lopsided we probably won’t get the credit we deserve, but we played really well. That first 10-15 minutes was some ferocious defense. FSU is a good shooting team, and I don’t think they hit a 3PT shot in the first half. They hit 13 against Clemson and we limited them to 3.
Fun to see Terquavion on top of his game.

I was looking at the stats. Florida State shot better than us in field goal percentages in the second half. 56%. They are a good shooting team. They’re young. Unfortunately for them, that probably means heavy use of the transfer portal, so Hamilton’s possible goal of building around youth is a tough hill to climb. As for us, it was nice to finally see both our offense and defense clicking. And there is no quit in this team. They played relentlessly on defense (and offense) the whole game. In fact, they played like they were behind the whole time! I… Read more »

Jack was suited up, went through warmups and the shoot around with the team, he looked like he was ready to go. As a matter of fact, he shot really well in the shoot around. With the kind of lead we had, I expected him at any time. He must not have felt ready yet.

Maybe KK is just being really careful. The game was very fast paced and a lot of folks flying around, maybe not the best situation. Hope after another few days of full practice he’ll see some minutes against GT which should be a slower paced game.

The way Clark shot the three in the Bahamas was amazing. I don’t doubt the game speeded up against better competition which prolly rushed the timing on his outside shooting. Regardless, Gantt strong defense and improved scoring reduces the urgency of Clark’s return. If Clark can play 10 minutes of tough D and rebound like he did pre-injury, that gives us more bodies headed into the toughest games of the season. His outside shooting would just make life easier for Burns in the post.

When our shots are falling, we are deadly. Nice to see a comfortable win and maintain momentum,

LJ is really looking good out there. He is strong and sure handed for a true freshman. He finishes inside with contact, and can shoot the long ball. Being able to sub in a true freshman at PG like that is a luxury.
