The NET is no more accurate or less flawed than the AP or Coaches polls. Dook is not even ranked in either but sits ahead of Miami and State in the NET? Worse than that, UNC is ahead of Pitt in the NET, despite being 0 for 8 in Quad one games? What a farce.

Here’s an interesting storyline to follow, Mike Brey’s farewell tour. Can they send him off with at least one more win? They’ve only beaten GT and the ‘Ville, so tall task.
Wednesday against UNC is his next to last home game (yes, please!), then Pitt the following week is his final home game at ND. Either would be great ‘going away gifts’ for him.
His other two are on the road, at WF and they end the regular season at Clemson.

Clemson and Wake are now Q3 games, won’t boost our rank but a loss could hurt.
Miami needs to slide back up a point to 30, or higher, to get that win back to Q1. It’s possible, they still have VT on the road, and FSU and Pitt at home.
It’d be nice to win at Cameron – obviously – but they are 13-0 at home, tough assignment.

Things have changed when beating UNC doesn’t help you much. What good are they.

Darn good question.
For the first time in 10 years, we beat both UNC & Duke at home but neither was ranked high enough to warrant storming the court.
