Dusan Mahorcic Enters the Transfer Portal

Published

on

On April 21st, NC State big man Dusan Mahorcic revealed that the ACC had approved his medical hardship waiver, giving him an extra year of collegiate eligibility.

Then last night, news broke that Mahorcic had entered the transfer portal.

From what I’m hearing, the Wolfpack coaching staff offered Mahorcic a medical hardship. The expectation is that Dusan might not be ready until February, because he had a second surgery after the first. With a medical hardship, Mahorcic could go to school, practice, and rehab, but not play. Mahorcic wasn’t interested in this option.

We wish Dusan the best!

All quiet on the Jaden Bradley front. I would have expected to have heard something by now if he were going to commit to Memphis. I also figured, all I have to do is post about Jaden Bradley questioning why we haven’t heard anything and… BAM! We’ll hear something like, ALL SIGNGS POINT TO MEMPHIS!

Papajohn… Don’t you think Rice will play the three? At 6’5” maybe 6’6” and somewhere in the 215 to 225 lbs he and Morsell would make an awesome combination. Not sure there are enough minutes to keep them both happy, but it gives us a bigger line up. I see Ross, Miranda, and D.Parker at the four.

With our history of injuries, committing a scholarship to a guy who might not play would be tough. I understand our position. But It’s sad that such a good teammate, and a good player, won’t be on the team again. We’ve got 6 guards, 2 small forwards, and 4 bigs. So we probably go for a big? I guess the Diarra kid from Mizzou is our primary focus. I’d buy another season ticket if we signed that PG from Bama, but I suppose that is off the table now. You could probably justify it since Rice will play the 4,… Read more »

What’s wrong with the big kid from Tennessee – Olivier Nkamhoua, 10 pts 5 reb can play defense. He only has one year left but that’s just like Horne. He killed Duke in the playoff game.

Why is Jaden Bradley off the table?

We already have 6 guards plus MJ Rice – who’s probably positioning himself as a guard in the NBA, even though he’ll have to play PF here. At least at first.
As much as a 5 star, pass first, 3 year eligibility, PG is the dream (in my mind), I don’t think we have room. I hate the idea that we might ‘influence’ someone to leave to make room for him.

Disclaimer: I’m just making crap up, I have no idea. Just guesses on what might happen next. I’d love Bradley, but right now we’re betting on Burns staying healthy, cause it looks like nothing but question marks behind him.

I guess we’ll see. I’m betting Keatts is doing everything he can to land Bradley. Just my personal opinion though, and nothing more. It just seems like this offense does better with a true point guard. Maybe it’s coming down the the battle of NIL$$$ at this point, who knows.

We need another scoring slasher like Seabron.

Seabron was amazing. I don’t know how he was able to slip in there and make some of the shots he made.
