Who is NC State WR Bradley Rozner?

On July 17th, Wide Receiver Bradley Rozner (6’5″/190) announced he was transferring from Rice to NC State, roughly 2 weeks before Fall Camp.

After the exodus of Devin Carter, the Wolfpack was in need of a tall receiver that could stretch the field.

Who would have expected that the void would be filled this late in the game by a receiver entering his 8th year of college football, and earned All-Conference honors last year?

Rozner spent his first four seasons at Cisco Junior College, where he sat out due to injury in 2016 and 2017.

In 2018, Rozner broke out with 44 receptions for 616 yards and 13 touchdowns. The touchdown receptions led the JUCO ranks, and he earned Honorable Mention All-American status.

In 2019, Rozner transferred to Rice, where he earned All Conference Honorable Mention honors, catching 55 balls for 770 yards and 5 touchdowns. The receiving yards and touchdowns led the team. He also had 4 games with 100+ yards receiving.

In 2020, Rozner was hurt, and sat out the Covid-19 year.

In 2021, Rozner snagged two receptions, but suffered an injury, and missed the remainder of the season once again.

Last year, Rozner had 44 receptions for 876 yards and 10 touchdowns. Once again, his receiving yards and touchdowns led Rice. Rozner averaged 19.9 yards per reception, which ranked 4th nationally.

In ultimately two seasons on the field for Rice, Rozner had 9 games with 100+ receiving yards.

By seasons end, I think the late addition of Rozner will be looked at as a move that drastically altered the 2023 season for the Wolfpack in a positive way.
