4-Star TE/DE Gus Ritchey Flips Commitment from UNC to NC State!
You’ve gotta love it.
4-Star 2025 Tight End/Defensive End Gus Ritchey (6’3″/230), who plays for Northwood High School in Pittsboro, North Carolina, just flipped his commitment from UNC to NC State!
Ritchey had only verbally committed to UNC less than two weeks ago, on August 1st.
Rivals ranks Ritchey as a 4-Star prospect, and the #7 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2025 recruiting class.
Ritchey is now the 2nd member of the Wolfpack’s 2025 recruiting class, joining 3-Star Quarterback Will Wilson.
It is great to see him flip from Holes, but 2025 is a long way off and I wonder if he will stick with the Pack.
