Savion Jackson’s 2022 Highlight Reel

Senior Defensive End Savion Jackson is about to enter his 5th year on the field. He’s healthy and looking to show everyone that there’s a reason he is wearing the #9 jersey at NC State.

In 2022, Jackson only played in 257 snaps in 7 games. He was injured in the Syracuse game, and missed the remainder of the season.

In those 7 games, Jackson had 15 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 QB Hurries. This stats might not blow the mind, but in the 3-3-5 defensive scheme, it was Jackson’s play that created the opportunities for the linebackers to pad their stats in the run game and in sacking the Quarterback.
