Notes

  • The highest graded player was Reserve Bishop Fitzgerald in (14 snaps). That’s how you earn more playing time.
  • Payton Wilson’s 74.6 grade was better than all but one game in 2022.
  • Shyheim Battle was the highest graded player in Run Defense (68.9) in 22 snaps.
    • C.J. Clark and Travali Price were the worst, with grades of 40 and 43 respectively.
  • Defensive Ends Davin Vann and Red Hibbler had the highest Pass Rush grades, with grades of 75.1 and 71.7 respectively.
  • Payton Wilson’s grade of 77.0 in 30 coverage snaps led the team.
  • I’ve mentioned both Bishop Fitzgerald and Red Hibbler in this report. Both of them were playing Junior College last season. Great finds by the Wolfpack coaching staff.

The defense is going to be fine if they can stay healthy. The first drive they showed stuff we hadn’t seen on tape, and then the one big play.
