It’s not a matter of if, but when at this point.

Brennan Armstrong is right on the cusp of breaking NC State’s record for rushing yards by a Quarterback in a single season.

Armstrong is only 8 yards away from breaking Jacoby Brissett’s record that was set back in 2014. Brissett broke a record that Johnny Evans had held for 38 years.

1. Jacoby Brissett, 2014 – 529
2. Brennan Armstrong, 2023 – 522
3. Johnny Evans, 1976 – 517
4. Tol Avery, 1980 – 456
5. Scott Smith, 1979 – 451
6. Russell Wilson, 2010 – 435
7. Russell Wilson, 2008 – 388
8. Jacoby Brissett, 2015 – 370
9. Johnny Evans, 1975 – 331
10. Scott Smith, 1978 – 304

Since returning to the starting role two games ago, Armstrong is averaging 92.5 rushing yards per game.
