NC State Tight End Christopher Toudle Enters the Transfer Portal

NC State Redshirt Junior Tight End Christopher Toudle just announced that he is entering the Transfer Portal.

Toudle saw action in 11 games this season, but didn’t record a single reception, after having 10+ receptions in the past two seasons. He was originally a 3-star Wide Receiver prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2019 recruiting class out of Wilmington, North Carolina. In 2021, Toudle switched from Wide Receiver to Tight End.

In 4 seasons, Toudle had 30 receptions for 320 yards and 5 touchdowns in 39 games. There was a time when it looked like Toudle would be a key feature in the Wolfpack offense, but he didn’t find his way into being a key contributor in Robert Anae’s offense this year, playing only 137 snaps this year. While this years snap count is a little down from last year, it’s a big dip from the 319 snaps he played in 2021.

Due to the wiping away of the Covid Season (2020), and redshirting the 2019 season, Toudle has 1 year to play his final year of eligibility.
