As we all wait with anticipation to see who NC State will be playing in their bowl game, let’s take a moment to look at the Wolfpack’s history in bowl games.

NC State has played in 33 bowl games, with the first one being in the Gator Bowl against Oklahoma in 1946. Overall, the Wolfpack are 17-15-1 in bowl games.

Dave Doeren has led NC State to 8 bowl games (1 of them cancelled), which is the most by any Wolfpack coach in school history. Under Doeren, the Wolfpack are 3-4 in bowl games, losing the last three.

The three game bowl losing streak the Pack is currently on is tied for the longest in school history, matching the three games losing streak from 1991-93. Doeren and his squad are looking to not set the school record for longest bowl losing streak.

In the comments below, share which of these bowls you attended. Share what your favorite bowl memory is. What the heck, share your least favorite bowl memory as well.
