NC State’s Dave Doeren Finishes 3rd in 2023 ACC Coach of the Year Voting

Florida State’s Mike Norvell was just named the 2023 ACC Coach of the Year. NC State’s Dave Doeren came in 3rd place in the voting, with 10 votes.

This ties for the 2nd highest Doeren has placed in the voting, landing in 3rd place in 2021 as well. Doeren was robbed in 2020, finishing second behind Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly. College football was weird due to Covid, and the Irish needed a temporary home, and the ACC obliged.

In my book, this was probably Doeren’s best year on the job.
