JUCO DB Brylan Lanier is Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Week

Two JUCO Defensive Backs from East Mississippi Community College will be taking Official Visits to NC State this week. I already reported that Tyrane Stewart will be taking an Official Visit to Raleigh beginning on December 14th, and I confirmed with his teammate Brylan Lanier (6’1″/185), that he will be taking an Official Visit at the same time.

Lanier has had quite the collegiate journey thus far. He initially committed to Georgia State as a member of the 2021 recruiting class, but ended up going to Alabama as a preferred walk-on, redshirting in Year 1. In 2022, Lanier transferred to Indiana, playing in 11 games, recording 11 tackles and 1 sack. This year, he played for East Mississippi Community College, recording 56 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 interception, 4 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles.

NC State offered Lanier on November 6th.

Lanier also holds offers from Arkansas, UNLV, Temple and others.
