Duke Transfer RB Jordan Waters Commits to NC State!

Duke Transfer Running Back Jordan Waters (6’0″/219) just committed to NC State!

Waters rushed for 753 yards  and 12 touchdowns this season for the Blue Devils, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. In his career, he has averaged 5.0 yards per carry in 50 games at Duke.

The former 3-star prospect out of Fairmont High School (Fairmont, North Carolina), who was ranked as the 43rd player in he state of North Carolina in 2019 by ESPN, earned 3rd Team All-ACC honors this season.

247Sports ranks Waters as the #41 overall player in the Transfer Portal, and the #3 Running Back. ON3 also ranks him as the #3 Running Back in the Portal, and Rivals ranks him 6th.

Waters commit is solid though can’t help but wonder if transfer commits just before signing day can’t influence a high schooler to change his commitment if he sees himself slipping behind a talented transfer at the same position.
