Former NC State Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been sitting in the wings behind former UNC Quarterback Sam Howell all season, as a backup for the Washington Commanders. Yesterday, with Washington down 28-7 in the 4th Quarter, Ron Rivera pulled Howell, and put in Brissett, giving him his first playing time of the year.

In two drives, Brissett threw for 124 passing yards. In 10 drives, Howell threw for 102. Brissett was brilliant in a short sample size, completing 8 of his 10 passes, with 2 of them going for touchdowns.

Check out a couple of his highlights from yesterday ABOVE.
