4-Star WR Keenan Jackson Flips Commitment from UNC to NC State on Signing Day

2024 4-Star Wide Receiver Keenan Jackson (6’3″/185) verbally committed to UNC on June 29th, a week after taking an Official Visit to Chapel Hill, but that didn’t stopped NC State from continuing to recruit him, and obviously their persistence paid off.

Jackson announced yesterday that he was decommitting from UNC, and today he not only flipped his commitment from the Tar Heels to the Wolfpack, but he also signed his National Letter of Intent.

Back in the summer of 2022, UNC offered Jackson on June 5th, and NC State’s offer came five days later, on June 10th. Then this summer, Jackson took an Official Visit to NC State on June 16th and then took one to UNC the following week, ultimately committing to the Tar Heels a week later on June 29th.

Rivals is the only recruiting database that ranks Jackson as a 4-star prospect. They rank him as the #14 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2024 recruiting class.

Jackson put up crazy numbers for Weddington (Matthews, North Carolina) this year, with an insane 102 receptions for 1,704 yards and 19 touchdowns. Those numbers ultimately led the Warriors to a 4A State Championship.

What in the world are we going to do with 12 WR? Can some of them play defense or add weight to play LB or DE.
