2025 4-Star Shooting Guard RJ Greer (6’4″/170) is down to 4 finalists, and NC State is one of them, along with Cincinnati, Penn State and the NBL in Australia. The NBL is a viable option for Greer because he is a dual citizen.
RJ Greer, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard in the 2025 class, tells @On3Recruits he’s down to three schools and the NBL.

Here’s what Greer had to say about NC State to 247Sports:
NC State: “They’ve been great and my mom loves NC State. We been on a visit there and was blown away by it all. All the coaches have been in touch and they came down to one of my games and whole bunch of open gyms, practices, and NBA Academy games in the past. We built a really good relationship.” (247)
Greer plays for Archbishop Alter in Dayton, Ohio.
Unless he is a great three point shooter, we don’t need him. We need some good big guys and a coach that can teach and coach them up. Not just roll the ball out there on the court. Everybody in the gym knew that DJ was going to shot that last shot, so there was no coaching there.
