#4 NC State Remains Undefeated at Home, Defeating Duke 72-57: BOX SCORE (with notes)

#4 NC State’s Women’s Basketball team got back to their winning ways yesterday, defeating Duke 72-57 yesterday. The Wolfpack are 16-2 overall, and have yet to lose at home this season (10-0). The Box Score is below, and the notes are underneath.

Junior Guard Aziaha James had a career high 33 points yesterday, making 12 of her 20 shots (3-6 3PT). She also had 8 rebounds.

Senior Center River Baldwin returned to the starting lineup, but understandably played limited minutes, seeing only 17 minutes of play.

Senior Forward Mimi Collins was the only other Wolfpack player in double figures scoring, posting a double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Junior Saniya Rivers had 7 steals and 5 assists.

The Wolfpack defense held Duke to 37.9% shooting from the field.

NC State will hit the road this Thursday night against Clemson at 7pm.
