All-American JUCO Defensive Back Marquis Brown is Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

Junior College Safety Marquis Brown (6’4″/200) confirmed with me that he is taking an Official Visit to NC State this weekend. Brown earned JCGridiron All-America 1st Team honors for his performance as a Sophomore this season at Golden West College in California. Brown has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

In 2023, Brown led Golden West in tackles (62), interceptions (5) and pass breakups (6).

NC State offered Brown back on October 26th this Fall. He also holds offers from Houston and Washington State.

Despite holding those offers, Brown verbally committed to Utah State on December 5th. Since then, the head coach of the Aggies was fired, and Brown’s recruitment is wide open again.
