#3 NC State Handles Business Against #15 Louisville with 77-67 Victory

#3 NC State handled business this evening, defeating #15 Louisville 77-67 at home on Play4Kay night. As a result, the Wolfpack are now in 2nd place in the ACC, sitting 0.5 games back from Virginia Tech, who they host Thursday. NC State has now won 5 straight games against the Cardinals.

Junior Guard Aziaha James led the Wolfpack with 28 points (20 in the 1st half), shooting 10 of 18 from the field, and 4 of 7 from three.

Senior Guard Madison Hayes had 4 threes of her own (4-8), which accounted for all 12 of her points. She also had 10 rebounds, giving her a double-double.

Senior Center River Baldwin scored 10 points, marking the first time she has scored in double figures since January 4th, when she was injured in the 3rd Quarter against FSU.

NC State is now 20-2 (8-2), and they will their third consecutive ranked opponent on Thursday, when they host #16 Virginia Tech at 8pm on ACC Network.
