#6 NC State is still projected to possibly be a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but they almost messed that up this afternoon, scraping by with an 86-85 win over Georgia Tech in Overtime.

The Wolfpack managed to win a game in which the Yellow Jackets shot better than they did (51.6%/47.1%), and hit a whopping 11 three-pointers (11-23). For comparison, NC State made 15%, hitting only 3.

Junior Guard Aziaha James continued to show that she is one of the most electric players in the conference, scoring 30 points on 11 of 20 shooting. She also had 7 boards and 3 steals.

Senior Guard Madison Hayes had herself a double-double, with 15 points and 11 boards.

Senior Center River Baldwin is getting back into her groove, with an impressive line of 16 points (7 of 9) and 6 boards.

Junior Guard Saniya Rivers had 10 points, 5 boards, 5 assists (team high) and 3 steals.

Georgia Tech led for 26:53 minutes, but the Wolfpack found a way to not lose a game they had no business losing.

Two noteworthy stats: NC State 9 more second chance points and scored 8 more points off of turnovers.

The Wolfpack will play at UNC on Thursday night at 8pm on ACC Network.
