NC State’s Zoe Brooks Earns a Spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team

NC State Guard Zoe Brooks earned a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team this afternoon.

Brooks only started in 7 of the 30 games that she played in, making her a perfect candidate for the ACC Sixth Player of the Year Award as well. Brooks came in 2nd in the voting.

Brooks averaged 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists in an average of 26.2 minutes per game. She ranked 6th in the ACC in Assist/Turnover Ratio (1.67).

Brooks came to NC State as one of the highest rated recruits in school history, ranked 9th overall nationally by ESPN, and she lived up to the hype in Year 1.
