Former NC State All-ACC Running Back Zonovan Knight re-signed with the Detroit Lions yesterday.

After being signed to the Lions’ Practice Squad prior to the start of the season, Knight was called up to join the 53-man roster on September 20th in Week 3 after David Montgomery suffered an injury. Unfortunately, Knight suffered a season ending shoulder injury in Week 5. In 2 games last year, Bam rushed the ball 3 times for 13 yards, and caught the ball 1 time for 8 yards.

After going undrafted in 2022, Knight was signed to the Jets’ Practice Squad, and eventually was called up, rushing for 300 yards (3.5 yards per carry) and a touchdown, while catching 13 passes for 100 yards as a Rookie in 7 games.

While Knight’s contract is expected to be some form of a 1-year deal, the details of the contract are unknown at this point.
