2026 Interior Offensive Lineman (Center) Langston Hogg (6’1″/270) took an unofficial visit to NC State on Friday. I caught up with Hogg to get his take on the visit.

When did NC State start recruiting you and what coach is primarily recruiting you?

NC State started recruiting me last summer. Coach 2J offered me in the Fall, and we continue to build a relationship.

What was your visit like? What did you learn? What did you enjoy?

The visit was awesome. I was able to see the facilities and the campus. I was able to sit down with Coach 2J one-on-one and discuss blocking schemes and Center reads. I left with a lot of great information that will help me this coming season.

If you got to watch practice, what were your thoughts on how the Wolfpack looked? Did any players standout?

Practice was in pro pads yesterday. It was a day of install and they were leaving for Spring Break after practice. The team looks solid at this point in the Spring. I really enjoyed the way the coaches interacted with the players.

What were the conversations like with the coaches?

All of the coaches and the recruiting team were great. It was very personable and I feel like I got to know them better.

Where does NC State stand in your recruitment? Which schools are recruiting you the hardest?

NC State is among my top choices. I continue to build relationships with Oregon, Vanderbilt, Duke, South Carolina, UAB, and Clemson. I feel my recruiting process is still early and I am thankful for all of the programs that have shown interest in me

_______

Hogg is an unranked player, but holds offers from NC State (9/22/23), Oregon, Vanderbilt, App St., Houston and UAB.

He plays for Cartersville High School (Cartersville, GA).
