Louisville Transfer Forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (6’10”/235) just wrapped up an Official Visit to NC State, and subsequently included the Wolfpack in his Final Four, along with Louisville, UCONN and Pitt.

Huntley-Hatfield was also scheduled to take an Official Visit to Indiana, but cancelled it after wrapping up his Official Visit in Raleigh.

Huntley-Hatfield is a 2-year starter at Louisville, starting in all 32 games for the Cardinals this season. He averaged 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds this year as a Junior, shooting 56.7% from the field.

Originally, Huntley-Hatfield committed to Tennessee, as a 5-star prospect in the Volunteer’s 2021 recruiting class. 247Sports and ESPN both ranked him as a 5-star prospect, with the latter ranking him as the #21 overall player nationally. 247Sports ranked him as the #1 player in the state of Pennsylvania.

After playing 35 games, starting 12, for Tennessee as a Freshman, Huntley-Hatfield transferred to Louisville.

Huntley-Hatfield has one more year of eligibility.

Get this guy now. He only has one year but that’s the way of basketball now. I saw him when he played at Tennessee. Don’t know why Barnes let him go. If he turns out like Burns did leaving Tennessee, go get him now. We are going to need big bodies next year. However, would like a guy with at least his skills and two years of eligibility left.
