NC State Football Recruiting Visitors From Earlier in the Week

The Wolfpack will have a lot of football recruiting prospects in attendance for their Spring Game today, but they also had a few key visitors on Thursday.

Devin Ancrum

3-Star 2025 Defensive Lineman (6’3″/295) visited NC State on Thursday.

Ancrum picked up an offer from NC State on March 1st, and he also holds offers from UNC, Duke, West Virginia, Maryland, Boston College, Liberty, App St. and others.

This past season, Ancrum had 49 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 pass breakups for Mill Creek in Hoschton, Georgia.

Gerritt Kemp

NC State offered Kemp on January 23rd of this year. He also holds offers from Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, LSU, UVA, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Duke, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Michigan St. and others.

As a Junior at Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) this past season, Kemp had 16 receptions for 514 yards and 7 touchdowns. On defense, he had 30 tackles, 3 interceptions and 6 pass breakups.

Kemp has already scheduled an Official Visit to NC State on June 14th.

Carrington Coombs

2025 Edge Carrington Coombs (6’3″/230) picked up on offer on his visit Thursday. Coombs is teammates with Kemp at Hebron Christian.

Coombs is currently an unranked prospect, but he holds offers from the Wolfpack, Virginia, App St., Georgia Tech, Oklahoma St., Liberty and others.

This past season, Coombs had 41 tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 4 sacks for Hebron Christian.
