Former NC State Guard LJ Thomas Transfers to Austin Peay

Former NC State Guard LJ Thomas is transferring to Austin Peay.

Thomas averaged 2.6 points per game in 12 appearances for NC State this season before leaving the team. News broke that Thomas entered the Transfer Portal on March 18th, but he had left the team quite some time before that.

ESPN ranked Thomas as a 4-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, while Rivals, ON3 and 247Sports all gave him 3 stars. Originally from Florida, Thomas finished his High School career playing for Bull City Prep in Durham, right down the road.

Thomas will have 2 years of eligibility remaining at Austin Peay.
