NC State has 11 2025 prospects in for Official Visits this weekend.

Here’s the list:

3- Star DE Colby Cronk (Commit)

3-Star S Tristan Teasdell (Commit)

3-Star CB RJ Jones

DT Makhi Williams-Lee 

3-Star CB Cam Strong

3-Star DE Mykah Newton 

3-Star WR Jamar Browder

3-Star DL London Simmons

3-Star DE Caleb Bell

3-Star CB Caden Gordon

3-Star TE Mike Tyler

3-Star Cornerback Jayden Shipps and 3-Star EDGE Nik Alston were scheduled to be in Raleigh this weekend as well, but their visits were cancelled according to a source.

NC State is Trying to Flip WVU EDGE Commit Romando Johnson

3-Star 2025 EDGE Romando Johnson (6’3″/245) might have verbally committed to West Virginia on June 10th, but that didn’t stop NC State from offering him a scholarship 10 days ago.

Johnson also holds offers from Miami, Florida, Mississippi St., Tennessee, Penn St., Louisville, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Pitt, Purdue, Wake Forest, Boston College and others.

He plays for Monarch High School in West Palm Beach, Florida.

NC State Football Commits 2024 Week 4 Recap

Check out how NC State’s Football recruiting commits fared in Week 4 of the High School Football season.

3-Star Quarterback Will Wilson went bananas in Richland Northeast’s 58-49 win over Nation Ford. He was 24 of 27 for 386 yards with 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He also rushed the ball 15 times for 165 yards.

Through 4 games, Wilson has completed 69.3% of his passes for 1,152 yards and 13 touchdowns, with 0 interceptions. He has also rushed the ball for 479 yards (9.8 yards per carry) and 3 touchdowns.

3-Star Colby Cronk was mind boggling in Flagler Palm Coast’s 48-0 win over LBHS, collecting 14 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.

Through the first 4 games, Cronk has 46 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.

4-Star Wide Receiver Jerel Bolder had 5 receptions for 101 yards in Forrest Hill’s 36-7 win over CSD. Through 4 games, Bolder has 24 receptions for 309 yards and a touchdown.

3-Star Defensive End Makhi Williams-Lee had 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 sack in Lakeside’s 51-50 win over AMHS.

Through 4 games, Williams-Lee has 35 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 5 sacks.

3-Star Wide Receiver Jamar Browder had 4 receptions for 52 yards in Santaluces’ 8-23 loss to PBCHS.

Through 4 games, Browder has 20 receptions for 358 yards and a touchdown.

NC State Extends Offer to USF OL Commit Sean Poret

Last week, NC State offered a scholarship to 2025 3-Star 2025 Offensive Lineman Sean Poret (6’4″/270), who is verbally committed to South Florida.

Poret plays for Riverwood in Atlanta, Georgia. He committed to USF on June 24th this Summer. Poret also holds offers from Duke, FSU, Vandy, Duke, SMU, Boston College and others.

NC State is Still Trying to Flip 3-Star Wake Forest Commit WR Jamien Little

The NC State football coaching staff doesn’t stop recruiting a player once they verbally commit to another school. For instance, 3-Star 2025 Wide Receiver Jamien Little (6’2″/175) verbally committed to Wake Forest back on March 27th, but that hasn’t stopped the Wolfpack.

There was a possibility that Little was going to be in attendance for NC State’s game against Louisiana Tech this past Saturday, but he confirmed with me that he wasn’t able to make it. With that being said, he did say he would be down to Raleigh on another weekend.

Little plays for Hickory High School (Hickory, NC), and ESPN ranks him as the #15 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2025 recruiting class.

Through 3 games this season, Little has 8 receptions for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a Junior last year he went off, with 70 receptions for 1,372 and 20 touchdowns.

NC State offered Little a scholarship in October of last year, which was 3 months before Wake Forest.
