3-Star OT Michael Gibbs Will Choose Between his Final 3 Schools on Sunday

Published

on

3-Star 2025 Offensive Tackle Michael Gibbs (6’4″/305) will choose between three schools on Sunday, June 30th at 12:30pm: NC State, Duke & Virginia Tech.

ON3 ranks Gibbs as the #19 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2025 recruiting class. Gibbs plays for Hoggard in Wilmington, NC.

NC State offered Gibbs back on November 3rd, making them the first Power 5 school to do so.

Gibbs just wrapped up an Official Visit to NC State this past weekend, and he took one with the Blue Devils and the Hokies earlier this month.

From what I’m hearing, heading into his commitment announcement on Sunday, NC State is at the front of this recruitment.

Matthew is Publisher and Co-Owner of Pack Insider. He is also the Lead Pastor of The Point Church in Cary, NC.

NC State 4-Star RB Target Kentrell Rinehart will Announce His College Decision Next Week

Published

on

4-Star Running Back Kentrell Rinehart (6’2″/220) took an Official Visit to NC State last weekend, and he has announced that he will be announcing his college decision next week, on July 5th.

ESPN and Rivals both rank Rinehart as a 4-star prospect, with the former ranking him as the #22 Running Back in the class nationally, and the #11 player in the state of Ohio. ESPN ranks Rinehart as the #270 overall player nationally in the 2025 recruiting class.

Back on February 10th, Rinehart released a Top 5 of NC State, Syracuse, Indiana, Kentucky and Minnesota. He took his first Official Visit to Minnesota on the 2nd weekend in June. Rinehart was supposed to take an Official Visit to Syracuse last weekend, but it was cancelled. Since releasing that Top-5, he has also picked up offers from Miami, Iowa and Missouri.

Rinehart ran a 4.5 40-yard dash at Ohio State’s camp earlier this month.

His Junior stats this past season (at Bishop Ready) were video game numbers, rushing for 2,837 yards (8.3 yards per carry) and 42 touchdowns.

From what I’m hearing, I believe NC State is out front in Rinehart’s recruitment at this point. I project that the Wolfpack will add their 2nd 4-Star prospect to their 2025 recruiting class next Friday.

Published

on

3-Star 2025 Defensive Tackle Omarian Abraham (6’2″/288) verbally committed to NC State on Monday, after taking an Official Visit to Raleigh this past weekend. I caught up with Abraham to get his take on his Official Visit.

What stood out about your visit to Raleigh? Breakdown the visit. What did you do? What were your favorite parts?

The coaching staff stood out the most to me. The bond they have is great. I went to the arcade and played games. My favorite part was that they treated me like family.

What is their vision for you in their defensive scheme?

Their vision for me is at Nose Tackle, and a little bit of Defensive End.

What are your thoughts of the current state of the NC State Football program, and the direction it’s heading?

The program is great and it’s heading for great success.

What about how NC State uses their Defensive Tackle’s in their Defense excites you?

They have produced dawgs on their defensive line, and I want to be a part of that greatness.

What’s your relationship like with any of the current players, or current 2025 commits?

I got a couple of teammates already on the roster (American Heritage teammates: S Daemon Fagan & LS Aiden Arias) My relationship with them is great.

What are your current goals for your Senior season?

My current goals for my Senior year are to work harder than I did my Junior year, and make 1st Team again, and to be the MVP of 1st Team All-County.

_______

As a Junior for American Heritage (Plantation, Florida) last season, Abraham had 75 Tackles, 14 Tackles for Loss and 3 Sacks.

Abraham chose to Run with the Wolfpack over offers from West Virginia, Pitt, USF, Liberty, Coastal Carolina, and others. NC State offered Abraham on May 24th.
