Georgia Tech Transfer Third Baseman Ryan Jaros just wrapped up his Freshman season, but he will be spending his Sophomore season in Raleigh, committing to NC State tonight.

Jaros hit .343 this year in 26 games, starting in 11. He had 10 walks compared to 11 strikeouts, boasting an On-Base Percentage of .511. Jaros’ OPS was an impressive 1.054.

Coming out of High School, Jaros was rated as the #6 3rd Baseman in the 2023 recruiting class nationally according to Perfect Game, and the #4 player in the state of New Jersey.

Jaros was High School teammates with NC State Pitcher Shane Van Dam at Cranford High School.

With the exodus of Alec Makarewicz, NC State will need someone to step up at 3rd Base next year, and Jaros might just be the answer.

Jaros is coming off of an injury, recovering from a shoulder surgery 5 weeks ago. He is projected to be ready for the season.
