NC State just got exactly the news they were hoping for when they learned that all charges against sophomore PG Markell Johnson (who was facing felony assault charges) had been dismissed.
Can confirm that charges against NC State guard Markell Johnson have been dismissed.

The pre-trial hearing was supposed to be January 16th, but apparently, that didn’t need to take place. He should be back in Raleigh shortly, however, there hasn’t been any official word on whether he’s suiting up tonight, or if his suspension is even being lifted immediately. (We’re guessing it would be).
This is all that’s out there right now, but we’ll be working on getting you more info as it breaks.
Huge news for the Pack!
