Wyatt Walker will not Return for Final Season at NC State

Remember when I said earlier today that no one had transferred from NC State after the conclusion of the season?

Welp.

Graduate Wyatt Walker has officially decided to forgo his final year of college eligibility to pursue his professional career.

I heard this was a possibility from a source the night after NC State lost to Lipscomb in the NIT.

Walker came to Raleigh as a Graduate Transfer, with 2 years of eligibility prior to last season.

The exodus of Walker means that there is now one more scholarship available.

Valparaiso big man Derrik Smits is taking an official visit to Raleigh this weekend.

With Walker no longer on the roster, the Wolfpack’s front-court consists of Redshirt Junior DJ Funderburk, Redshirt Freshman Manny Bates, and Graduate Senior Pat Andree.
