The team stood in the top 25 the final 14 weeks of the season and collected 11 ranked wins. Six of those wins required defeating a top-25 opponent.

The 2019 campaign was highlighted by a program-best No. 9 ranking and by the program’s first trip to the NCAA Championships Sweet 16 as a team.

The Pack continued to make history throughout the season with wins over No. 14 Virginia (its first ACC-opening win in five seasons), No. 25 Miami (the program’s first win over the Hurricanes), and No. 33 Georgia Tech (NC State’s first win against the Yellow Jackets since 1998).

Finishing tied for third place at the conclusion of regular season ACC play, NC State notched its best conference finish to date.

Raleigh welcomed the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championships for the first time, as NC State earned two wins at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center to be one of 16 teams remaining in the field.
