Former NC State Tight End Christopher Toudle announced he has committed to Western Michigan.

Toudle saw action in 11 games this season, but didn’t record a single reception, after having 10+ receptions in the past two seasons. He was originally a 3-star Wide Receiver prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2019 recruiting class out of Wilmington, North Carolina. In 2021, Toudle switched from Wide Receiver to Tight End.

In 4 seasons, Toudle had 30 receptions for 320 yards and 5 touchdowns in 39 games. There was a time when it looked like Toudle would be a key feature in the Wolfpack offense, but he didn’t find his way into being a key contributor in Robert Anae’s offense this year, playing only 137 snaps this year. While this years snap count was a little down from last year, it’s a big dip from the 319 snaps he played in 2021.

Toudle has 1 year of eligibility remaining. He announced he was entering the Portal on November 27th.

Here’s a rundown of where players that have transferred from NC State have landed:

NT CJ Clark – Miami
QB MJ Morris – Maryland
WR Terrell Timmons – Colorado
WR Porter Rooks – Eastern Michigan
LB Torren Wright – Temple
