Notes
- NC State will play two Thursday night games: the season opener against Western Carolina at home, and a game on the road against Georgia Tech in November 21st.
- That means the Wolfpack will have extra time to prepare and rest for their matchups against Tennessee and UNC.
- The Wolfpack will have 2 Bye Weekends: the weekends of October 26th & November 16th.
- Extra time to recover and prepare for Stanford after the first bye, and Georgia Tech after the second.
- NC State will play two of the three new members of the ACC, in fact, they will play them in back-to-back games.
- They will play Cal on the road on October 19th and Stanford on November 2nd.
- The Wolfpack’s ACC opener will be a road game at Clemson.
- NC State will play Duke in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2008-09.
- On September 28th, NC State will host Northern Illinois, who Dave Doeren coached prior to taking the job in Raleigh.
