VIDEO: Jericole Hellems Talks After NC State’s 85-57 Victory Over St. Peter’s

NC State mowed over Saint Peter’s last night 85-57 (ACCDN Highlights and Condensed Game), improving to 5-0 on the year. Freshman Jericole Hellems was one of four Wolfpack players in double-figures, scoring 10 points (4-7 FG/2-3 3PT). • We were stiff (at the beginning of the 1st half). It happens, but we came out, worked hard, and got the win.
• Everyday I try to work on every part of my game. 3-point shooting is a part of that. I work everyday to try to improve that.
• I give 100% everyday that I can. That’s what coach tries to instill in us. As long as you’re giving effort, and working on the defensive end, the offense will come, and you’ll be on the field.
• (When everyone can score) It just gives everybody confidence that your teammate is there if you’re not having a good game to pick you up. It gives you confidence when your teammates can score too.
