VIDEO: Torin Dorn Talks After NC State’s 85-57 Victory Over St. Peter’s

NC State mowed over Saint Peter’s last night 85-57 (ACCDN Highlights and Condensed Game), improving to 5-0 on the year. • Anytime you look up at the scoreboard and see you’re up 20-30 points, it’s kind of hard to muster up the same energy. That’s something we’ll have to work on as the season progresses, having the same energy and intensity in the 2nd half.
• They kind of abandoned their offense, and did a little isolation game. It took us a little bit to get used to it and learn how to defend them. Once we figured it out, we went on a run and the rest was history.
• The key was just keeping them in front of us. Keeping them out of the lane. Making them make contested shots.
• I think we are getting better (at chemistry). A lot of guys are itching to play and show what they can do. Anytime you have 10 guys who want to play and want to play hard, you’re going to get better. I think we are getting better and improving.
