NC State WR Terrell Timmons Enters Transfer Portal

NC State Sophomore Wide Receiver Terrell Timmons announced today that he will be entering the Transfer Portal.

I’m sure Timmons wasn’t thrilled with his usage rate, failing to record a reception in the final three games. Still, this one shocks me a little bit.

Timmons was a 3-Star prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2022 recruiting class, out of Greensboro, North Carolina.

This year, Timmons played in all 12 games, snagging 11 receptions for 195 yards. As a True Freshman last year, he only had three catches, but they were all memorable. He had a deep ball against Virginia Tech thrown by MJ Morris that was impressive, and he caught a touchdown against UNC thrown by Ben Finley.

Timmons is now the 3rd Wide Receiver to enter the Transfer Portal from NC State. He will have three years to play two years of eligibility.
