#10 Seed NC State vs. #7 Seed Georgia: Game 3: Time & TV Network Announced
#10 seed NC State and #7 Seed Georgia will play in Game 3 of the Athens Super Regional tomorrow night at 7pm on ESPN.
This is the 6th time that NC State has advanced to the Super Regionals.
Back in 2021, the Wolfpack had to win 2 of 3 to advance to the College World Series, so this isn’t foreign territory, defeating #1 seed Arkansas 3-2 in Game 3.
Here’s the deja vu that the Wolfpack doesn’t want to come to fruition tomorrow. Back in 2008, NC State also played Georgia in Athens in the Super Regional, and the Bulldogs won 2 of 3 to go to the College World Series. The deja vu is even crazier, when you add in the fact that NC State beat James Madison and South Carolina back in 2008 in the Raleigh Regional like they did this year.
Here’s to telling the same story as 2008, with the opposite team going to Omaha.
