UNCG Pitcher Julien Peissel is Transferring to NC State
UNC-Greensboro Pitcher Julien Peissel announced this evening that he is transferring to NC State.
Beyond grateful for the opportunities, friends, and memories I’ve made the past two year. I’m excited to announce I’ll be attending NC state for the remainder of my college career. 🐺🐺🐺 pic.twitter.com/BjvRKQVQPv

Peissel just wrapped up his Sophomore season in Greensboro, posting a 4-2 record with an ERA of 4.70 in 14 starts for the Spartans. He struck out 64 batters in 74.2 innings, and held opponents to a .253 Batting Average.
Peissel helped lead UNCG to the Southern Conference Regular Season Championship, earning All-SoCon 2nd Team honors. As a Freshman, he as named to the All-SoCon Freshman Team.
Peissel has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
