Vanderbilt Transfer 1st Baseman Matt Ossenfort has committed to NC State.
Ossenfort only played in 6 games, with 12 plate appearances as a Freshman with Vandy this past season, hitting .182. Both of his hits were extra-base hits, with a Home Run and a Double.
Coming out of Majory Stoneman Douglas in Florida, Ossenfort was ranked as the #10 1st Baseman nationally in the 2024 recruiting class, and the #2 1st Baseman in the Sunshine State.

With the exodus of Garrett Pennington, Ossenfort will look to come in and compete for the starting job at 1st Base next season.
