The Mets Draft NC State’s Eli Serrano III in the 4th Round

The New York Mets have drafted NC State Center Fielder Eli Serrano III in the 4th round of the 2024 MLB Draft, with the 111th overall pick.

Serrano III hit .286 this year, with 9 Home Runs, 39 RBI’s, 56 Runs, an OPS of .816. He was named to the All-Freshman team last season.

Even though Serrano III is a rising Junior, by age he is draft eligible.

Serrano III is the 2nd Wolfpack player drafted so far this year, with Catcher Jacob Cozart being taken by the Guardians in the 2nd Round last night.
