Former All-ACC NC State Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers crossed a significant statistical barrier last week, going over 4,000 career receiving yards in the NFL.

Meyers is only the 6th former Wolfpack football player to go on to have 4,000+ receiving yards in the NFL.

Career Receiving Yards in the NFL

1. Torry Holt – 13,382
2. Jerricho Cotchery – 6,623
3. Mike Quick – 6,464
4. Haywood Jeffires – 6,334
5. Koren Robinson – 4,244
6. Jakobi Meyers – 4,023
7. Ted Brown (RB)- 2,850
8. Alex Webster (RB) – 2,679
9. Nyheim Hines (RB) – 1,778
10. Dick Christy (RB) – 1,473

Meyers will likely finish the season in 5th all-time, passing Koren Robinson.

He currently ranks 5th in school history in career NFL receptions.

1. Torry Holt – 920
2. Haywood Jeffires – 535
3. Jerricho Cotchery – 524
4. Mike Quick – 363
5. Jakobi Meyers – 349
6. Ted Brown (RB) – 339
7. Koren Robinson – 294
8. Alex Webster (RB) – 240
8. Nyheim Hines (RB) – 240
10. Dick Christy (RB) – 132

By seasons end, Meyers will likely pass Mike Quick, moving into 4th place.

This season, Meyers currently has 43 receptions for 458 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Las Vegas Raiders.

The fact that Meyers went undrafted in 2019, and has gone on to be one of the best NFL Wide Receivers NC State has ever produced, is one of my favorite PackPro stories.
